Accessibility statement
At Blue Compile we want everyone to be able to use our website easily, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification or keyboard-only navigation.
Accessibility level
This website was built to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA. We also followed the updated WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.
The site was tested with automated accessibility tools and a manual code review, in Chrome on desktop and at mobile phone size.
What we did to make the site accessible
- A clear structure with hierarchical headings and marked regions (header, main content, footer).
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- Text and background colors meet the required contrast, including form fields and buttons.
- Decorative elements are hidden from screen readers, and links and buttons have clear names.
- Every form field has a label, required fields are marked, and the confirmation message after sending is announced automatically by screen readers.
- The page language is declared, so screen readers read the text with the right pronunciation.
- The animation at the top of the home page has a pause button, and it stops automatically for visitors who turned on "reduce motion" on their device.
- The site adapts to every screen size, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content or functionality.
- The FAQ uses standard elements that open and close with the keyboard too.
- The site has no time limits, flashing content or pop-up windows.
